How many earth days do we have left? A YouTube video was published by Source Fed with the same title. Basically the video talks about our planet’s situation which is highly affected by many environmental hazards such as pollution, deforestation, and depopulation of wild life, thus resulting to the same question. So when this happens, people will need a lot of last day on earth hack to survive our remaining days.
How Many Earth Days Do We Have Left?
But do you know that there are more and more people becoming aware of these environmental hazards? And do you know that more and more people are protecting the environment and are out there encouraging millions of other people to join in the outreach of keeping the balance between human and nature? With this said, there is an increase of awareness that results to an increase in the cover of trees in the earth’s surface. That means the balance of oxygen and carbon monoxide has improved in recent years.
The Bad News about our Environment
However, despite all these efforts, there is still bad news that comes with good news. On top of the bad news is the decrease of the global animal population that led to many species on extinction. Many environmentalists are reaching out to many of these species in their effort to save what’s left and propagate their population. Depopulation of these species is mostly a result of overhunting, overfishing, and destruction of habitat. In essence, it still boils down to human abuse and misuse of natural resources.
Next to the list of bad news is the high percentage of plastic in our oceans. Every single ocean in our planet has a massive concentration of plastic garbage which is not visible from space but the fact still remains that plastics are there in the oceans, broken down into small pieces that are camouflaged in the water. A fact that had been pointed is that our oceans are acidifying. This means that our oceans are absorbing huge amounts of carbon as a result of global warming. According to scientists, earth’s oceans have acidified only once over 250 million years ago which was called the Permian extinction event. When this happens in our life time, many lives on earth are close to extinction.
The Good News about our Environment
Despite all the bad news, we still have plenty of time to make changes and help our environment recuperate from all the hazards. In 2013, it was estimated that the earth still has another 1.75 billion years to survive. Good news – we are not going to die tomorrow but we still have plenty of chance to do some serious repair for our tomorrow’s children and their children’s children.
So start now. Join in the movement of saving our planet. There are a lot of things we can do to contribute to a better and healthier earth.
